So my wish is to DL that original release and then copy it into new folders to seed the file to the dead torrents. What is problematic is that I end up with 4 versions of the exact same file in my client, but only one has seeds. So in Jackett you just select multiple torrents and select download and they all enter your client's queue. In my search results (jackett) I see multiple torrents hosting the same data, ie.

Resource monitor literally lists Deluge as the only process that's accessing the file, checked multiple times, as soon as I close and reopen deluge.Īt this point I don't know what else to do, I know I could change my torrent manager but I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up another manager and I've never really had this issue with deluge before after years of using it. I've always had the download folder for deluge listed as an exception for Windows Defender and my AV, and just to make sure I added the specific folder being downloaded to the same exceptions, still getting the same error. This hasn't happened to me before, and I haven't changed anything in the file structure of how deluge does it's thing.
The download keeps going into "error" and in the details it says "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" Trying to download and old TV show that I used to watch, so the download a large folder with a lot of video files, nothing I haven't done before, so there shouldn't be an issue, except there is I've been using Deluge as my one and only torrent downloader for years now, never had a problem with it, until now. This has been driving me insane for the past couple of hours now and I don't know what else to do so here I am asking for help.
